Instrument measurement principle: The water sample to be tested is pretreated, and the reducing substances are oxidized by potassium dichromate under high temperature and high pressure digestion conditions with silver salt as catalyst in a strong acid medium. The absorbance is detected by the photoelectric colorimetric principle, and the mass concentration of chemical oxygen demand in the water sample is obtained by calculation.
